Announcing 2022 Endorsed Candidates
Building off its first round of endorsements after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, UltraViolet PAC is endorsing twenty candidates in key midterm races who are advancing gender justice by openly support abortion rights and access to reproductive healthcare. We used stringent criteria to determine which candidates to endorse, prioritizing candidates who met our high bar for supporting reproductive justice, racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, gun safety reform, and their defense of democracy. We analyzed their voting histories and on-the-record public statements around immigration, disability justice, climate justice, poverty, housing justice and healthcare. In addition, our endorsements prioritize candidates whose own identities and campaigns are making history with their powerful anti-racist and feminist platforms, and who aren’t scared to walk the talk and challenge the establishment.
